Dealing with loss or pain


The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: 
And merciful men are taken away, none considering that 
The righteous is taken away from evil to come. 
Isaiah 57 vs 1

We could sit down for days and blame others for the loss of loved ones
We could blame circumstances for affecting the result we expected
We could criticise others in their path because it did not seem pleasing to us
We must anticipate that we know not the end of things....


We may wish it to be all rosy, glorious,milk-filled and honey
But the winning life is also filled with battles of life
When we are at our worst,  God sees us as his best
When we are called to dicipline by God
We may feel he is unhappy with us
We could have said we have been too merciful
We have been too kind
Or is it that we had been way too careless 
So that is why we deserve the bad thats happened to us

Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child?
Can she feel no love for the child she has borne?
But even if that were possible,  I would not forget You!

Isaiah 49:15


When things don't go as expected
When our taste suddenly goes sour
None considering that the righteous is taken away from evil to come
We must remember! 
For as high as the sky are above the earth,
So are his ways different from ours.
To live a life that he has destined for us might have to involve 
Denying ourselves for the sake of righteousness
He says we would go through the fire, through the storm, but it would not harm you!

He says I am God, is there anything too hard for me?
The righteous person faces many troubles
BUT the Lord delivers him from all 

Psalm 34:19

We are God's perfect creation
Beautiful of all worlds
